Artist at Resort (AAR) is a residence-, mentoring- and performance-project by Tanz*Hotel. Artists are supported in terms of dramaturgy, choreography and organization by Bert Gstettner. The AAR Term 15 coproductions are focusing on the collaboration of dance/choreography/performance with contemporary music (composition, live or computer-music) and/or visual arts (installation, objects, video, light).

Sequitur_caleidoscopia is the researching interest of transferring the reception experience of New Music to the medium of dance and choreography. The score of Sequitur IVb offers not only a musical, but also a framework of movement, in whose structure of sound gestures a repertoire of danced gestures and articulations is inscribed kaleidoscopically. The dancing body acts as a further instrument that draws its (movement) language from the examination of atonal music. Just as the instrumental part of the viola is fanned out to a complex canon at the electronic level, this "digital shift" also takes place on a visual level through graphic visuals. Movement, sound and visuals inscribe themselves into the mutual free spaces and create a living kaleidoscope of acoustic and visual information.

 In dealing with sculptural material, the internal structure of the body becomes a describable matrix. Individual body areas are associated, charged and enriched with information about form and material of the objects. Iris Dittler explores how body, object, sound and space can be brought into resonance and how the body can be informed through imagination and animated to other movements. Beyond standardized samples of perception and movement, the project asks about forms of coexistence of different perceptions in a common space.

With Demo # 1 - Dreamers we demonstrate against the negation of the dream as reality. Because the dream is no less important than the order of reality in the waking state. This demonstration is the embodiment of dream experience: an individual experience that is mostly hidden in personal intangibles. We demonstrate a dreamed reality of life that enables encounters that draw attention to details that make differences and their beauty visible. A polychrome sphere with countless variations and directions. „Apropos Demo!“ (Performance Lab) is a research project of the UFO ensemble.
