The Runner
Concept, direction, performance: Matthias Mollner
Performance: Anna Nowak

I am running forward. I am running on the spot. The clock is my competitor. Tick, tack. I am running and I am spinning. My court is burning, that’s why I am running naked. Beeing naked makes me feel vulnerable. You are walking slowly. You are observing. I don’t observe. I don’t see. I don’t want to see. I am automatic. You want to put me off my step. I ignore that. I am running forward on the spot. Out of my territory you push me into an open field.

lonely lonely
Choreography, performance: Sööt/Zeyringer

The artist duo Sööt/Zeyringer transforms their performative research about desired and undesired loneliness into a rhythmical dialogue of simple movements and speech. Two cardboard boxes and two bodies on stage propose possiblites to deal with the need to be together and the need to be left alone. The performers overcarefully carry out a complex pattern of visual and audible fragments of loneliness in a nearly ridiculous manner.

Die Klette
Performance: Andrea Maria Handler & Arnulfo Pardo Ravagli
Visual Arts, Costume- & Stagedesign: Adriana Torres Topaga
A cooperation with Cie. Off Verticality Linz / Austria

Do you know the feeling of discovering little burdocks attached to your clothes after coming back from a walk in the mountains? They hook quietly and without you noticing it. This way of contact to the burdocks can be annoying for us but it is their natural way of survival. “Die Klette” served us as an inspiration to create a specific setting, which makes us deal with a different reality on our way of establishing physical contact. As burdocks invade our privacy, the performers have to cope with conditions like the lack of intimacy and physical and emotional distance.

Kids A

Two companions for a journey. Invisible compass reveals us the way.
Two bodies become no-body. Getting a sense of a lost direction.
I reach beyond what can be reached. I grab fragments from a broken story.
